Brand, Site and Print bootcamp
Many churches wish they had a better website. In five live Thursday sessions, we’ll show you how to use AI to make one for your church, with a new brand and print to match, and someone at your church who can keep it current.
For churches whose website is out of date, or depends on the one person who knows how to change it.
Everything is approved by you before it goes anywhere. Printing itself is paid by your church, at whatever printer you already use.
A brand
A wordmark or logo, colors, type and a short voice guide, approved by you.
A website
Live on your church’s own domain, built from your church’s facts. Your email is never touched.
People who can keep it current
A named reviewer, a backup reviewer, and one trained volunteer who has already made a live change.
A print set in the new brand
Print-ready PDFs you can send to any printer.
Each session is 90 minutes, 11 am to 12:30 pm Eastern: a short demonstration, then live work on your own church. Each leaves about an hour of homework.
Thursday, November 12
See your church like a visitor
Walk your current site on a phone the way a newcomer would. Gather your church’s facts in one place. Name who reviews changes, a backup reviewer, and the volunteer who will keep the site current.
Homework: Send 10 to 20 photos and the words you want to keep.
Thursday, November 19
Your brand
Build your brand live: colors, type, a wordmark or logo, and a short guide to how your church sounds.
Homework: Approve the voice guide. Collect consent for photos with recognizable people.
Thursday, December 3
Your pages, in your own voice
Plan the pages, then draft the copy from your voice guide and your church’s facts.
Homework: Mark up the copy and fill every gap it leaves for you.
Thursday, December 10
Build it and see it on a phone
Your site on a private preview. Your reviewer practices approving a change. Your print set, drafted.
Homework: Your reviewer approves the preview; you approve the print set.
Thursday, December 17
Launch and hand off
Point your domain at the new site with one record. Your volunteer makes the first live change and your reviewer approves it.
Homework: None.
Hosting is free through March 31, 2027. The monthly fee after that is set and offered before then.
Nothing goes live unreviewed
Your named reviewer approves every change before it reaches your site.
New volunteers get trained
If your volunteer moves on, the next one is trained on request while hosting is free.
Your email is never touched
Launch changes one record that points your web address at the new site.
You can always leave
If you move the site elsewhere, you get everything you need to take it with you.
$299 gives one of your congregations without full-time clergy a finished brand, website and print set. A seat you fund doesn’t use one of the three sponsored seats.
Pay with the same checkout and email hello@gethandbuilt.com the congregation’s name. If your office needs an invoice instead, email us first.
Up to three people from your church who will find it useful, such as the pastor, the treasurer, the church administrator or a volunteer. The pastor doesn’t have to come. If someone will keep the site current, bring them to the first and last sessions at least.
About an hour a week of homework, sized for Advent.
No. Launch day changes one record that points your website address at the new site. Your email settings are never touched.
No. You learn by doing it on your own church, with help at each step. Your part is the decisions: what your church sounds like, which photos to use, what the pages say.
Hosting is free through March 31, 2027. The monthly fee after that is set and offered before then. If you would rather move the site elsewhere, you get everything you need to take it with you.
